Chance and I did FHE with my parents and brigham tonight. SO fun. We made and decorated cookies. Pictures to come. My dad and mom even decorated some.. which was just funny.
This was mine

Chance did this one... Bless his heart;)

Baby Blessing

On November 7th Chance was able to bless Britian in my home ward. It was such a wonderful experience! Afterward, my family and Chances family got together in pg and ate lots of food. It was delicious and so much fun to have both families there. My mom made potato cheese soup and a fruit salad, Lacee made a salad, Chances mom got the drinks and rolls and meats for sandwiches. It was an unforgettable day:)

Halloween!

Halloween was so much fun this year! My mom, my sister Lacee and her husband Travis, Chance and I, and my little brother Brigham made caramel apples earlier in the day. We made a couple different kinds, first we dipped the apples in caramel and then dipped them in milk chocolate after which we either rolled them in crushed up heath bar, butterfinger, or M&M's. It was so much fun! My mom always likes doing a fun little activity. After making apples, Chance and I helped my mom with dinner. We made what my mom likes to call "mummies." You take a hot dog and roll it in a crescent roll then throw it in the oven for a couple minutes and add "eyes." :) My mom also made home-made root beer which she does every year and it was delicious! Kannon, Dani and Bret came down from Ogden so that Kannon could trick-or-treat around the ward here. It was so fun to hang out with them for a little bit! I didn't dare take Britian out trick-or-treating but that didn't stop me from dressing him up! He was my darling little pea in a pod and everyone thought he was absolutely adorable.

Me waiting for contractions to get bad!

Holding my baby boy for the first time and his daddy cutting the cord :)

Wow how time flies! Due to oligohydramnios I was induced a week early. That whole day is a blur to me. We went in around 1:30 P.M. and the pitocin started around 3:30. I started out at 3.5 cm. I was feeling great until I reached 8 centimeters four hours later; and that's when I decided to get my epidural. A lot of people told me that the IV was worse than the epidural, but having had an IV throughout my pregnancy I think the epidural was worse! I began having an odd sensation to push. My mom informed the nurse and they checked me again and I had gone from a 6 to an 8 within about 1/2 hour. And the 3 hours of pushing began! Hard stuff. The hardest thing was that the epidural never really worked. Maybe 20 minutes and about 5 different doses. Not fun. Baby finally made his appearance at 11:40 p.m. and I thought the worst was over. Little did I know. So here I was with this darling 7 lb 7 oz baby boy, 19-1/2" long. When they went to begin the repair they realized I had tore not so much on the outside but all on the inside. My sweet midwife did not even know where to start and so I had to wait until an OB was in the house to stitch me up. I lost about 1,000 cc of blood and ended up with about 300 sutures. To make matters worse, due to the ineffectiveness of the epidural, I felt the whole freakin' thing. It was worse than the delivery. They said I had a stellate tear up inside all the way down. I was given 2 units of blood, antibiotics, the whole 9 yards. Ya know, I would have done it again and I will, too! He was so worth every bit of it and more. Even while they were stitching up every tear, I was already thinking of my next baby! He has been the greatest blessing of my life and every day I am more and more grateful. I of course decided to breast feed a long time ago, before I even got married. It is such a bonding experience and so fulfilling knowing he is getting everything he needs from me, exclusively! Not to diss on anyone else's views, but who wouldn't want to breast feed their baby when they know that any formula out there is such a distant second to what breast milk is! Not gonna lie, it has been really hard to master and it takes a lot of patience and sacrifice, but I know that my baby boy is so grateful that I decided to breast feed him. I want to thank my practically perfect husband for being so patient and understanding with me, up with me through the night even though he is going to school. Britian has a wonderful role model. Pictures to come . . . soon!

Life is so good!

Things have been absolutely crazy the last three weeks! I decided to switch from BYU to UVU and so far I am loving it! Ritalin is so amazing and I can't believe the difference that it makes. Sessely just keeps getting bigger with our baby boy and we are getting so anxious for him to just hurry and get here!! We are all ready with the nursery and now we have a travel system :)

The whole name thing is still in the air but we are leaning more towards Britian :) Life is so good to us and we are loving every minute of it! Our year anniversary is quickly approaching on the 9th of October! I can't believe how fast time has gone. With Sessely feeling better time has seemed to really speed up and it's still so surreal that our little guy will be here any time! Sessely's due date is Oct. 7 but the measurements of the baby are from September 26 to October 2nd. The midwives are pretty sure she wont make it to October and I tend to agree!

BYU football is in full swing and I am living it! Sessely has been such a good sport and even watched the whole first game with me :) She is pretty amazing like that! I think that is all for now but we will continue to update! Thanks for following us :)

IT'S A BOY!!!!

SO WE FOUND OUT FOR SURE IT'S A BOY!!!!
The pregnancy has really calmed down for the most part and I'm really enjoying it! I started having contractions on my birthday and spent the night in the hospital so they could moniter me. I think we saw 4-5 different doctors and I was told so many different things it was so frustrating! Finally we got a special test done that says if i'll be going into labor w/in the next 2 weeks and it came back negative. Phew. We only have 79 days left and we are SOOOO excited!!! Our next appointment is on the 3rd of August and after that I go back once a week until he's born!!! Time has really gone by SO fast and I am so grateful for this baby! Chance and I couldn't be more happy that we didn't wait. It has been such a blessing to be pregnant and mine and Chance's relationship has really strengthened. I love my little guy and my hubby!

My little brother leaves for his mission tomorrow and i'm really holding it together for the most part! I'm really excited for him to go because I know he is going to be an AMAZING missionary. I sure hope 2 years fly by though. He got called to the Merida Mexico mission. Go figure. We're mexican and hate mexican food. And thats exactly where he is going:p OH. Chance bought me a Kitten:D He is the cutest thing in the world. His name is Captain and has really entertained our lives! He is SUCH a character! Definitely a Mama's boy:D It was funny because one Saturday morning we woke up and were just talking when Chance said, "Let's get a cat" So that day we called a million people from ksl and went to 3 pet stores looking for kittens. And then we stopped by this one house where they had 2 kittens left. I made Chance go by himself because I would have wanted both and he picked out our little Captain. I think we're both just really baby hungry so Captain is keeping us tied over for the next 79 days. We love him to death though!

We'll try to keep this a little more updated as the due date comes closer!!

Marriage :-D

Well I dus guess its my turn! So my dearest Sessi talked a little about the baby :-) and how very excited we are about this little guy! We are pretty sure its a boy because the midwife wanted us to have an ultrasound at about 16 weeks to see if it was multiples and our little guy was being modest so we aren't 100% sure...yet! By the way they think its only one ;-). So this upcoming monday we are actually going in for the 20 week ultrasound and we are stoked that this time we actually get pictures and hopefully we can determine how many babies ;-) and what gender he/they are hehe. Well as for Sessely and I we have both been working but today is Sessely's last day at the doctor's office needless to say we are kind of excited about that so there wont be as much stress on her or the baby :-) I am still working for my dad and things are going great! I sometimes travel with him to Elko to train or we have flown to Colorado to find any labs that would be interested in The Dental Solution America. I am also working on finishing my online class so that I can apply to the Y in the fall! I am praying so hard that I get in :-). Well I am off now because Sessely says that I need some gum so I should get on that ASAP! Love you all and until next time!

We're Married!!! And Pregnant!!

So after having this blog for months, we decided it was about time to start writing. 7 months ago I married the man of my dreams! And life couldn't be better. Time has gone by so fast I can't even believe it! I think Chance is gonna be talking more about the Marriage. I've got a baby to talk about! In January we found out I was pregnant and Chance and I are so excited to start our own little family! This pregnancy has been nothing like I expected. Starting at about 8 weeks the morning sickness began and I thought everything was normal. It It was nothing I couldn't handle until I started my second trimester (which I foolishly believed was the best time of the pregnancy) and that was when I started throwing up 8-10 times a day. Starting at like 8, lasting till 3 everyday. It was like clock work. It got to the point I was visiting my Midwife in AF every other day so they could start an IV in me because I was getting so dehydrated. And then. Finally. They just sent me home with one. So I have a semi-permanent IV right now and I do 2 bags of fluid a day:) With medicine through my IV. I know this baby will be so worth it I can't even wait to see him! or Her! (but we're pretty sure it's a him;) I honestly can't think of anything more to say right now. Because I'm tired. But I'm sure i'll think of something right before falling asleep and post more later:)
